Sales Terms (CGV)

These Sales Terms govern paid subscriptions to the BestCoder Service. They complement the Terms of Service; in case of conflict between the two, these Sales Terms prevail for matters of pricing and billing.

1. Plans and pricing

Liberty includes a 1-month free trial, no credit card required. Team includes a 14-day evaluation with full feature access. Enterprise terms are negotiated on a per-contract basis.

2. Free trial

The Liberty trial converts to a paid subscription only when you explicitly enter a payment method and confirm the upgrade. We do not charge cards stored from previous subscriptions without a fresh opt-in.

3. Taxes

Prices are listed exclusive of VAT. EU customers are charged the VAT rate of their country of residence (reverse-charge applies for B2B customers with a valid VAT number). Non-EU customers may be subject to local taxes that we do not collect.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (Ireland). We do not store or have access to your card data; only the last 4 digits, brand, and expiration date are stored for billing display.

5. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we retry on D+3, D+5, and D+7. After three failed attempts your subscription is paused: projects move to read-only until payment is restored. You receive an email at each retry and when the pause is triggered.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel from /settings/billing at any time. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no further charges are made. Already-paid periods are not refunded except where French consumer law requires it.

7. Refunds

We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on the first monthly payment of any new paid plan. After that, refunds are case-by-case and non-guaranteed. Annual Enterprise contracts follow the refund clauses negotiated in the Master Services Agreement.

8. Price changes

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email and an in-product banner. Price changes never apply mid-billing-period; you are billed the new price starting from the next renewal. You may cancel before the renewal if you do not accept the change.

9. Currency

All prices are listed in EUR. Cross-currency conversion is handled by Stripe at the prevailing market rate; small variations between the displayed and charged amount may occur and are not refundable.

10. Invoices

Stripe-generated PDF invoices are available from /settings/billing. You can download all past invoices at any time, even after cancellation, while your account exists.
